We are expanding! We are currently seeking an Employer Retirement Plan Advisor to join the Qualified Plans division. The position will involve a variety of responsibilities crucial to the success of the growing Qualified Plans division.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Communicate daily with high level individuals at companies and establish deeper relationships with these individuals.
  • Stay informed on current events and economic factors that can affect the financial market.
  • Assist plan sponsors with year-end administration to ensure that necessary documents are submitted to the IRS in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining a database of Qualified Plan clients.
  • Prepare necessary reports, documents, and topics to be discussed with clients during the annual plan review meeting.
  • Track the performance for all clients on a plan level and keep information organized on a detailed spreadsheet.
  • Onboard new clients onto the 401k platform, and train them on website features and how to process contributions.
  • Create various plan participant letters specific to each client (ex. enrollment letters, plan transition letters, termination letters, etc.)
  • Process contributions for certain clients and be aware of specific plan policies including eligibility, enrollment, contributions, and vesting.
  • Assist with various plan participant requests when support is needed.
  • Be able to adapt quickly to issues that arise and always provide excellent customer service to clients.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Series 65 preferred
  • At least 2 year in a Wealth Management position, preferably working with Qualified Plans or in an advisory role
  • Competent computing skills that include working with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized with the ability to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner, along with great follow-through skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Have a willingness to learn, retain information, and solve problems on your own

Hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
